The beginning to the end

The point of this blog is to share me experience as I go through the process of WLS.
The first time I realized I wanted to have surgery was in may 2011. I went to my first consultation in June 2011. It was free and with about 20 other people. The nurses spokes, the insurance Rep talked and then the surgeon. I was completely interested and determined to have the sleeve operation. They handed out forms to whomever wanted them about the process. That same day I called my insurance. I figured why wait. I was told.there was no way they would cover the sleeve. So they told.me.they would cover the RNY Or the lapband procedure. So I did my research and decided I wanted the RNY. I completed all my paperwork and what not by July 2011. I was called and accepted into the program August 2011. My waiting process was considerably short compared to everyone else. So it began...
